Job description

Job Requirements

Starting Pay Range: $42,120 - $53,703 yearly

The Spa Supervisor ensures smooth daily operations at Ahsi and Skana Spas, opening and closing the spas when needed and supporting staff to create a welcoming, client-focused environment. Key responsibilities include scheduling, training, and maintaining spa areas to high standards, ensuring every guest has a top-notch experience. This role involves managing team activities, responding to guest needs, promoting services, and keeping records up to date on SharePoint. The supervisor also helps with group sales, handles customer requests, and steps in to cover breaks, all while setting an example of exceptional customer service.

What you will do as a Spa Supervisor:                           

  • Monitor the daily operations of Ahsi and Skana Spas. Opens and closes the spas as needed as acting supervisor.
  • Ensure pools, spa, and salon areas are maintained in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Strive to create a client base and develop repeat guests.
  • Monitor business flow to develop efficient training, break and shift schedules.
  • Hire and train staff as needed, ensuring best practices, Forbes standards, and procedures are enforced.
  • Conduct initial safety training & ongoing safety/education for staff.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the facility & ensures staff is in assigned areas and that all areas are receiving proper attention. Immediately responds to any problem area that may require special attention.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement SOPs for Front Desk and Locker Room areas.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of PAF and administrative procedures; and in doing so, accurately tracks and records LOAs, vacation time, EOs, call-outs, and special requests for public areas staff.
  • Promotes sale of products and services; attends to guest needs or special requests.
  • Address any customer issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Consistently sets an example for exceptional customer service.
  • Cover any breaks as needed for both spa locations.
  • Assist with all group sales at both spas.
  • Assist in maintaining SharePoint site with daily logs, PTO requests, SOPs, etc.

Work Experience

To be successful as a Spa Supervisor, you'll need:

  • A High School diploma or GED required. College degree or some level of secondary education preferred.
  • Two years supervisory experience in Hospitality required.
  • An above average verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Basic math skills, merchandising skills, inventory administration and the ability to operate a personal computer.
  • Scheduling flexibility to include weekend and evening availability.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 41-50 pounds.
