The Hostess/Assistant Dining Room Supervisor has a huge impact on the lives of residents and on the overall culture of the community. This position is an invaluable part of the Still Hopes family! Below is a picture of the impact had and what being a difference maker looks like!

Responsible for coordinating activities of dining room personnel to provide fast and courteous service to patrons.

Duties include:

  • Schedules dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for diners.
  • Greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides menus.
  • Addresses complaints of patrons.
  • Responsible for inspecting dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness, and requisitions table lininsย and other dining room supplies for tables and serving stations.
  • Insures that dining room staff receives adequate training, schedules work hours and keep time records of dining room staff.
  • May prepare beverages and expedite food orders.
  • Responsible for totaling receipts at end of shift, verifying sales, and clearing POS.
  • May collect payment from customers

Candidate must possess a high school diploma or GED with one year experience in a dining room or restaurant environment. Applicants must have a high level of professionalism, be a team player, solution oriented with a positive attitude.
