Bioventus LLC., seeks Manager SAP (Durham, NC) Duties: Provide comprehensive leadership to the SAP team and support for the S/4HANA SAP environment and SAP encompassing modules/technologies such as PP, MM, SD, QM, WM, EDI, Vistex, and Vertex. Oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of functional applications within SAP while ensuring the seamless operation of the core system and database. Responsible for global delivery and support of SAP to all business units, including Finance, Accounting, Operations, and other departments as required. Act as a trusted partner with Information Technology leadership, stakeholders, end users, and external partners by providing strategic direction and in facilitating consensus as to the timing of solutions deployment. Lead and execute special requests, audits, projects, initiatives, and presentations for leadership as required. Establish and manage Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and track performance against targets. Report on KPI's monthly for internal and external teams. Work seamlessly with staff, contractors, and outsourcing providers to offer unified SAP support and top-notch service to our business and users. Manage and mentor staff. Conduct full performance management cycle. Coach, guide, and manage performance of direct reports, ensuring focus on functional and company objectives meeting on/above target standards. Perform all activities in compliance with internal and external requirements and standards. Manage the release and change control processes for all SAP updates, ensuring that users are trained in new features. Assist in reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing IT contracts to optimize terms, ensuring competitive cost and performance. Review and approve invoices while managing to the budget. Collaborate closely with IT management and procurement teams to align contract terms with organizational goals and requirements. Attract, develop, and retain talent. Ensure focus and alignment with functional and company goals. Provide employees with continuous feedback and coaching using talent and performance management tools. Investigate industry trends and new versions of SAP applications, providing guidance and recommendations to senior IT management.

Required: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering and Operations Management or closely related field plus 8 years of experience in the job offered or SAP system design related positions.

Must have:

  • 8 years of experience with SAP process re-engineering, environments, Systems Design, Deployment and Enhancements.
  • 8 years of experience integrating SAP Materials Management with Warehouse and Transportation Management.
  • 6 years of experience with at least 4 or more of the following SAP modules/technologies: Sales & Distribution (SD), Logistic Execution, Materials Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), EDI, Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), Vistex.
  • 4 years of experience with Vertex and S/4HANA.
  • 4 years of experience with 21 CFR Part 11 regulations.
  • 3 years of experience working in a SAP customer-facing environment.
  • Experience with large scale SAP implementation that involves integration, conversion, cutover, system integration testing, acceptance testing, gathering requirements, and relaying to the Information Technology team to ensure design, build, implement, and enable system functionality.
  • 3 full-cycle ERP implementations.

In the alternate, will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering and Operations Management or closely related field plus 10 years of experience in the job offered or SAP system design related positions.

Must have:

  • 8 years of experience with SAP process re-engineering, environments, Systems Design, Deployment and Enhancements.

24/7/365 on-call support required on a need basis for weekend/after-hours to support SAP functions. Hybrid role model, working 3 days in office and 2 days from commuting distance of the office location. National and International travel required 10% of the time to various facilities and future potential warehouse locations for meetings and trainings.
