FT 11-7 RN Supervisor

We are looking for a qualified nursing supervisor to oversee patients and manage the nursing team for the overnight shift of our  bed health 49 bed health center. Our ideal candidate has solid experience as a registered nurse and is able to manage and support the care delivery to our residents. This position requires team management skills and a problem-solving attitude. Further training in management or administration would be a bonus. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure smooth nursing operations at our health center through the support and encouragement of our team members. 

Responsibilities

  • Assign care teams
  • Ensure nursing operational standards are met
  • Provide reports on shift activity
  • Ensure all nurses follow policies and procedures
  • Train new team members
  • Evaluate staff performance
  • Inform family members about medical updates
  • Liaison with family members/visitors during shift
  • Establish a compassionate environment by providing psychological support to patients, family and friends
  • Oversee input in EMR(electronic medical record)
