About this Opportunity:

The MRB & Customer Return Coordinator plays a critical role in managing nonconforming product and customer returns. This position ensures timely and accurate processing of Material Review Board (MRB) activities and returned goods, working closely with Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Customer Service teams. The coordinator will maintain compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements while helping drive continuous improvement in product quality and customer satisfaction.



Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage MRB activities, including documentation, disposition, material movement, and follow-up actions.
  • Receive, inspect (collaborate with quality & manufacturing engineering), and process customer returns in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of nonconforming material and returned goods in the ERP & QMS systems.
  • Maintain logs and schedules to ensure customer requested timelines are documented, communicate requests and monitor schedules to ensure all parties have the proper information with the goal of increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Assist Quality Engineers with scheduling and hosting cross-functional teams to investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and customer procedures and policies related to nonconforming products and returns.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and process explanations.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership regarding return status and resolution.
  • Prepare and distribute MRB, CF, and RMA reports and metrics to support quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality or manufacturing; preferably in medical device.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 & ISO 9001.
  • Experience with MRB processes
  • Experience with ERP & eQMS systems
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience with customer returns.
  • Training in root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
  • Forklift certification.
