Job description

The Revenue Cycle Generalist is an entry-level position that provides administrative support to the Billing and Reimbursement departments.
This is a full-time role, Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM out of our Bloomington location.
Revo Health is a professional services company that partners w/multiple healthcare groups to deliver exceptional patient care. This position will be employed through Revo Health, working closely w/Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health) & its operating divisions.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Ensure professional communication over the phone, via email, or other written documentation and respond to all inquiries
  • Maintain a working knowledge of health care plan requirements and health plan networks
  • Mail and attach appropriate documentation to refund checks.
  • Scan and fax documents for Revenue Cycle
  • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
  • Additional functions may include:
  • Make outbound phone calls to patients as follow up to unpaid, denied, or rejected billing claims and document according to current policy
  • Retrieve and distribute medical records as requested
  • Insurance and patient payment processing
  • Patient account review to ensure accurate payment posting
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Administrative experience preferred
  • Accounting and/or cash drawer balancing experience preferred

Working Conditions:
  • Hybrid work schedule with in-office presence 2-3 days per week after completion of training
  • Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 8 or more hours per day).
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching within the office environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry office supplies or files weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
  • Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
  • Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer).
