Hardware Quality Engineer
Job Overview

  • Our hardware quality engineers ensure that our devices in the field meet the rigorous standards required to keep automotive vehicles safe on the road


What you do

  • Lead hardware quality roadmap development, strategy, and execution

  • Analyze data from internal testing and customer deployments to discover and mitigate issues

  • Triage and investigate hardware issues reported by customers and partners

  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve our hardware systems and processes

  • Devise requirements for in-line testing, end-of-line testing, and acceptance testing

  • Review documentation for manufacturing processes

  • Balance the needs of our customers with the capabilities of our solution

  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards


Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering

  • Experience with building or deploying hardware products deployed at scale

  • Familiarity with electronic manufacturing processes

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Experience applying statistical analyses to engineering problems
