Full-time

Salary: $90k - $120k

Context

Strategic Advisory

We're looking for a unicorn — someone who understands the tax code at a level most practitioners never reach, and who can use that knowledge as a strategic weapon for clients. This is a senior advisory role focused on identifying and structuring aggressive-but-legal tax positions, designing bespoke planning strategies, and helping Revo expand its intellectual edge in the market. We're not filling this role quickly — we're filling it right.

What you'll do:
  • Develop and refine high-level tax strategies for complex client profiles
  • Research and apply advanced positions across income, investment, and business tax
  • Advise on working interest structures, fund investments, and alternative asset tax treatment
  • Collaborate with the founding team on product development and service design
  • Support client-facing advisors with technical depth and deal‑specific guidance
  • Contribute to thought leadership — including content, AMAs, and client education
What we're looking for:
  • CPA, EA, JD, or LLM (Tax) strongly preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in tax planning or advisory — not just compliance
  • Deep familiarity with IRC sections that most people have never read
  • Experience with Reg D investments, O&G structures, or alternative tax strategies is a strong advantage
  • Able to work independently and think commercially — you understand that strategy has to work in the real world
  • Genuine curiosity about tax law and how it can be used proactively
