Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite at our Seattle Rehabilitation Facility, where you will work collaboratively with orthopedic specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a state-of-the-art environment. The role requires a commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace and compliance with health safety protocols, including required vaccinations. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify physical limitations and develop tailored treatment strategies.
• Create and implement personalized rehabilitation plans aimed at achieving optimal recovery outcomes while adhering to professional standards.
• Provide consultation to physicians and other healthcare providers regarding the patient's continuum of care, facilitating seamless communication for treatment adjustments.
• Engage with patients and their support networks to ensure understanding and adherence to treatment protocols, fostering an encouraging therapeutic alliance.
• Document treatment outcomes, update discharge plans, and submit charges for services rendered in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory standards.
• Play an active role in community outreach initiatives and marketing strategies to promote services offered at Revive Motion Clinic.
• Maintain open communication with the interdisciplinary treatment team, coordinating care effectively across various specialties.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, ensuring high standards of care and effective resource management within the department.
• Participate in regular staff meetings and enhance professional knowledge through continuous education initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work with a diverse patient population, including young athletes recovering from sports injuries, adults undergoing rehabilitation after surgeries, and elderly individuals managing chronic conditions. This role demands a high level of cultural competence and empathy, as you will engage with patients from various backgrounds, adapting your approach to accommodate individual needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is a prerequisite.
• State License in Physical Therapy is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer applications for documentation and care coordination.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting is highly desirable and will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of patient interactions.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits
