Work Environment

The position is based in our outpatient office located in Belleville, New Jersey. You will work Monday to Friday, ensuring a balanced work-life commitment. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Revive Motion Clinic, your responsibilities will include:

• Directing physical therapy treatment aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring muscle function in alignment with individualized care plans.
• Overseeing physical therapy assistants to ensure adherence to treatment protocols and proper execution of care plans.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients’ functional abilities using appropriate diagnostic and prognostic assessments.
• Adapting treatment plans based on evaluations, ensuring the inclusion of home environment considerations to promote patient independence.
• Administering manual therapeutic exercises and assisting clients with prescribed physical activity regimens to facilitate rehabilitation.
• Carrying out advanced physical therapy techniques, including traction and massage, alongside treatment regimes utilizing physical agents.
• Assessing, fitting, and providing recommendations for prosthetics and orthotics in collaboration with physicians.
• Documenting comprehensive clinical records, including initial evaluations and progress notes, to contribute toward unified patient care.
• Participating actively in case conferences with interdisciplinary teams, offering insights into treatment plans and patient progress.
• Education of patients and families on therapeutic devices and care protocols to enhance the overall rehabilitation experience.
• Conducting periodic assessments of patient progress and making appropriate recommendations for modifications to care strategies.
• Completing necessary clinical and payroll documentation in a timely manner, adhering to organization policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patients, each with unique rehabilitation needs stemming from musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical recoveries, chronic pain syndromes, and mobility impairments. Your expertise will empower you to adapt treatment programs based on individual capabilities and goals, ensuring that our clients achieve the highest possible outcomes in their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in acute care or home healthcare.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in good standing within the state of New Jersey.
• Must possess a valid CPR certification upon hiring.
• A valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance are mandatory.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
