Job Title: Revenue Cycle Supervisor โ€“ Payment Posting and AR

Location: Hospital in Costa Mesa, CA (100% Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time
Department: Revenue Cycle Management

Hourly Rate: $45-$ 50/hr depending on experience

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Supervisor to lead our Payment Posting and Accounts Receivable (AR) team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare revenue cycle management, with a focus on payment posting, AR, and overall operations management. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage a team, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Additional Duties:
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the revenue cycle.
  • Oversee workflows and processes, continuously seeking improvements in the revenue cycle to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage complex and difficult issues within the revenue cycle, developing and implementing action plans to resolve obstacles that may impact the overall revenue cycle.
  • Oversee the recruitment, hiring, training, development, and retention of staff within the revenue cycle team.
Qualifications:
  • Required Education:
    • Associateโ€™s Degree, preferably in Healthcare Administration, OR
    • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in provider-based billing in healthcare.
  • Preferred Education:
    • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Health Administration with 5+ years of supervisory experience, with an emphasis on physician revenue cycle.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role overseeing payment posting and AR functions.
    • Experience supervising a revenue cycle team.
  • Certifications & Licensure:
    • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent.
