Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Epic Revenue Cycle Builder for a Direct Hire position with a Major Healthcare Company located in Pittsburgh, PA. This position is 100% remote.
Compensation: Up to $150,000 per year, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Epic Revenue Cycle Builder focused on the Physician Billing (PB) side to support ongoing optimization, build, and maintenance within the Epic environment. This role requires deep technical expertise, hands-on build experience, and the ability to design and implement edits that improve revenue cycle performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead design, build, and optimization efforts within Epic Revenue Cycle - Physician Billing (PB)
  • Configure and maintain billing edits, rules, and workflows to ensure clean claims and reduce denials
  • Collaborate with revenue cycle, operations, and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into system solutions
  • Troubleshoot billing issues, identify root causes, and implement system fixes or enhancements
  • Support system upgrades, testing cycles (unit/integration/UAT), and post-go-live stabilization
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory and payer requirements
  • Provide guidance on best practices for physician billing configuration and revenue optimization

Primary Requirements:
  • 15+ years of IT experience, with strong focus on healthcare systems
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Epic Revenue Cycle (Physician Billing/PB)
  • Proven experience building and maintaining Epic billing edits, charge workflows, and rules logic
  • Strong technical understanding of claims processing, reimbursement, and denial management
  • Experience working within a single enterprise environment long-term (deep system knowledge preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with both technical and business teams

Desired Skills:
  • Active Epic certification(s) in Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) and/or Revenue Cycle-related modules
  • Experience with charge capture, coding workflows, and interface integrations
  • Familiarity with reporting tools and revenue cycle analytics
  • Prior experience supporting large health systems or academic medical centers
