Job description

Bionic Prosthetics and Orthotics is a premier provider of orthotic and prosthetic services, with more than 45 locations across the United States. We are seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to join our team. This is a full-time, senior management position with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., located in Merrillville, IN.

Position Summary

The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the organization's revenue cycle. This role partners closely with the billing, coding, authorizations, patient registration, and collections teams to ensure efficient operations, maximize reimbursement, and maintain compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations.

The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a strong background in healthcare revenue cycle operations, reimbursement, financial performance, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the revenue cycle, including billing, coding, patient registration, authorizations, and collections.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and payer regulations related to healthcare billing and reimbursement.
  • Develop, implement, and improve revenue cycle policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased revenue.
  • Collaborate with billing, authorizations, and other operational departments to ensure seamless revenue cycle processes.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and oversight to the Billing and Authorization teams to ensure high-quality performance and accountability.
  • Resolve complex billing and reimbursement issues by working directly with insurance carriers and payers.
  • Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives that improve revenue cycle performance.
  • Prepare reports and present revenue cycle performance metrics and recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare revenue cycle management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, reimbursement methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving operational improvements.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with healthcare billing, practice management, or electronic medical record (EMR) software.
  • Proficiency in analyzing financial data and revenue cycle performance metrics.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
