Job description

Immediate opportunity at Brennan's restaurant for an experienced restaurant sales professional to join the private event sales team. Our historic building, eight beautiful dining rooms, and French Quarter courtyard are highly sought after for weddings, corporate, social, and convention events. Brennan's is one of the most celebrated restaurants in the United States, named an "Outstanding Restaurant" finalist by the James Beard Foundation and a five-time Grand Award winner from Wine Spectator.

Our sales managers are the bridge between our party hosts and the restaurant, ensuring seamless planning and a uniquely Brennan's experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Respond to abundant leads to book private party business
  • Manage each booking with urgency, accuracy, and hospitality
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate all aspects of event bookings for hand-off to operations
  • Build proposals, contracts, and BEOs using Tripleseat
  • Work with the Executive Chef and operators on group menus and client requests
  • Develop referral business through industry events, event planners, and hotel sales teams
  • Deliver sales projections and maintain accurate records for reporting
  • Work in a high-performance team setting with strong and experienced sales managers

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in restaurant sales
  • Strong food and beverage knowledge
  • Superior interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work with clients in a hospitable and professional manner
  • Highly proficient with computer work
  • Prior experience with the Tripleseat booking platform
