Job description

Bev-Hub is one of the fastest growing beverage manufacturing companies specializing in thermally processed low-acid beverages – specifically with the use of retorts. We are committed to innovation and quality excellence in our processes and the products that we produce.  

Bev-Hub is searching for a dedicated sales professional to join our team as Beverage Sales Representative. The sales rep is an account level salesperson focused on growing and maintaining retail business in the Kansas market. This position requires flexible hours, daily travel and potential weekend shifts for special events. 

The position will work directly with the Bev-Hub Sales Manager to assist with production sales and client services. 

FOCUS: 

• High-energy, detail-oriented person needed for fast-paced, but rewarding position. 

• Must have a pleasant personality, be self-motivated, goal oriented, and the ability to communicate well with others. 

• Beverage industry knowledge, particularly kegs, and 1-2 years of beverage industry sales experience is required. 

• Sell excess plant capacity to target customers 

• Proven track record in sales and achieving targets 

Essential Job Functions: 

• Regular worksite attendance 

• Manage schedule between production facilities and onsite sales • Manage and fulfill orders from retail, bars, restaurants, and stores • Deliver orders in a timely manner 

• Maintain accurate records of inventory and coordinate with production • Develop relationships with potential new customers and maintain existing customers 

• Maintain effective communication throughout the business development cycle • Collect payments from customers as needed 

• Resolve any issues or complaints related to the delivery of products • Identify, promote, sell and manage new co-pack business growth • Ensure the company supplied kegerators are clean and in top working order.  Repair or replace as necessary 

• Keg lines get cleaned every other week 

• Provide weekly sales report to leadership team for visibility 

• Provide training and education to the clients to ensure the product is stored, handled, and served correctly

Minimum Position Qualifications: 

• Develop strong knowledge of Bev-Hub and Nitro Joe’s company history and products 

• Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere 

• Basic computer skills and experience 

• Excellent organizational and time management skills 

• Excellent client services skills to handle inquiries, complaints, or any other client communications 

• Reliable transportation (vehicle) 

• Valid driver’s license with good driving record 

• Ability to lift heavy objects from time to time (kegs-50lbs). 

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching. 

• Responsible for following food safety/regulatory policies and procedures

• Participates actively in facility safety initiatives, programs, and training sessions. 

Experience in Ecommerce, food service, or wholesale markets would be beneficial.
