  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Knowledge of current trends in the beverage industry, including craft cocktails, wine, and spirits.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute innovative beverage programs, including cocktail menus, wine lists, and specialty drink offerings tailored to the target clientele.
  • Manage daily beverage operations, including inventory control, ordering, and supplier relationships to ensure cost efficiency and product availability.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team and restaurant management to coordinate food and beverage pairings and special event offerings.
  • Oversee staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management to build a skilled and motivated beverage team.
  • Monitor labor and food costs closely, implementing strategies to optimize profitability without compromising quality or guest experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations related to beverage service.
  • Lead pre-opening activities for new venues or outlets, including staff training, inventory setup, and operational planning.

Skills:

Expertise in food and beverage cost control and labor cost management is critical for maintaining profitability while delivering high-quality service. Collaboration skills are essential when working alongside the Executive Chef and other management to create cohesive dining experiences. Pre-opening experience is applied when launching new venues, requiring strong organizational and training abilities. Additionally, a deep understanding of fine dining standards and hospitality principles guides the team in providing exceptional guest experiences consistently.
