Joining King's Hawaiian makes you part of our `ohana (family). We are a family-owned business for over seventy years, respecting our roots while thinking about our future as we continue to grow and care for our customers and the communities we serve. Our `ohana members build an environment of inclusivity as they freely collaborate, pursue learning through curiosity, and explore innovation as critical thinkers. Beyond that, we are also passionate about supporting the long-term health and well-being of our employees and their families. If you're excited to rise with our team, come and join our `ohana!

We're looking for a creative marketing mastermind with a passion for food and hospitality. If you've got a flair for innovation and an instinct for staying ahead of the latest trends, this is your chance to shine. We need someone who can craft exciting campaigns, curate vibrant content, and keep our brand fresh and lively, just like the Aloha spirit we embody. You'll be hands-on, whether it's coordinating fun photo shoots, owning our social media presence, or keeping the website up to date with irresistible content. You'll bring your A-game to assist during key holidays and special events, ensuring unforgettable guest experiences. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment, loves to talk story, and knows how to make things pop, we want you to help us spread those island vibes far and wide! This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is passionate about the food business and loves having a lot of variety in their role!

What You'll Do:

  • Marketing Campaign Management: Develop and manage marketing campaigns throughout the year for both restaurant locations. This includes creating promotional calendars, managing timelines, executing campaigns, and ensuring all campaigns align with business goals.

  • Content Creation & Coordination: Oversee the creation of all marketing content, including photography, videos, and graphics. This includes coordinating photo shoots for new menu items, seasonal specials, events, and other promotional materials.

  • Website Management: Own and update all content on the restaurant's website, ensuring that the site is current with the latest menu offerings, promotions, events, and brand messaging.

  • Social Media Strategy & Content Management: Manage all social media accounts, develop content calendars, and schedule posts to maintain an engaging presence. Monitor trends and drive the creative direction of social media campaigns to boost engagement and build a loyal community.

  • Marketing Materials & Signage: Design and create all print and digital marketing materials, including signage, flyers, promotional banners, etc. Ensure materials are consistent with brand guidelines and effectively communicate promotions and new offerings.

  • Menu & Special Updates: Collaborate with the restaurant's management to stay updated on menu changes, new dishes, and specials. Ensure that all updates are communicated through appropriate marketing channels, including digital menus, signage, and social media.

  • Trend Monitoring & Innovation: Continuously track and analyze current trends in the restaurant industry, digital marketing, and consumer behavior. Proactively implement innovative ideas to stay ahead of trends and engage with customers in fresh, creative ways.

  • Analytics & Reporting: Track the success of marketing campaigns through key metrics (social media engagement, website traffic, sales performance) and analyze results to improve future marketing strategies. Present monthly or quarterly reports.

  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the restaurant team to ensure marketing initiatives align with operations and goals. Ensure that promotions and events are executed seamlessly from concept to delivery.

  • Customer Engagement: Ensure the brand voice remains consistent across all platforms. Engage with customers through social media, email, and other channels, responding to inquiries and fostering positive customer relationships.

What You'll Need:

  • A minimum of 3 (preferably more) years of relevant experience.

  • Understanding of social media management and content creation.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and lead creative projects.

  • An understanding of current trends in marketing, food, and digital content creation.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling content for various platforms.

  • Strong photography and video production skills are a plus!

Please note that this will be an on-site role at the Sepulveda restaurant location in Torrance. Due to the nature of the restaurant business, all holidays (excluding Christmas Day and New Year's Day) and occasional evening and weekend work will be required. This is not a corporate marketing role.

The compensation range for this role is$68,640 to $110,000. Please note that the final offer will be determined by several factors, including relevant experience, etc.
