What You’ll Do  

The Restaurant Chef is responsible for the day-to-day culinary operations of the restaurant. You will provide hands-on leadership to the culinary team and create a culture focused on excellence, teamwork, and exceptional hospitality. You will ensure consistent food quality, presentation, safety, and sanitation while managing food costs and kitchen operations. You will help develop menus, maintain culinary standards, train and develop team members, and identify opportunities to improve the guest experience.


Who You Are

  • Bring 5+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, luxury hospitality environment, ideally overseeing large scale operations. 

  • Lead and inspire a team of colleagues, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, collaboration, and genuine hospitality. 

  • Demonstrate strong business acumen, with a solid understanding of restaurant operations, financial performance, labor, cost controls, and profitability. 

  • Own daily shift operations, including staffing, scheduling, planning, prioritization, and real-time decision-making. 

  • Demonstrate strong culinary knowledge, including an understanding of flavors, aromas, ingredients, seasonality, and food quality. 

  • Maintain the highest standards of product quality, presentation, service, and restaurant cleanliness. 

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, remaining calm, composed, and solutions-oriented under pressure. 

  • Handle unexpected guest requests and operational challenges with confidence, poise, and sound judgment. 

  • Demonstrate proficiency with POS and reservation platforms, including OpenTable and other digital dining and reservation technologies. 

  • Coach, mentor, and develop colleagues through clear expectations, meaningful feedback, recognition, and ongoing training. 

  • Champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to elevate service, operational efficiency, team performance, and the overall guest experience.
