About Us:
Vision Government Solutions is a leading software & services company providing cutting-edge property tax and appraisal software to Towns, Cities, and Counties across the United States. Vision is at an incredible inflection point of growth and has been rapidly adding clients to our community. We are looking for exceptional individuals to join our Appraisal team specific to our Arkansas CAMA Technology division.
Summary of Role & Responsibilities:
  • Calculate the area of various geometric shapes
  • Accurately collect field data
  • Accurately measure residential structures, including associated ancillary structures
  • Clear (legible) & precise sketching of residential structures
  • Coding collected field data correctly & orderly
  • Cooperate with data entry on data coding issues
  • Collect field data within the time allotted
    • Use time effectively and efficiently
    • Manage paperwork effectively and efficiently
    • Research needed information
    • Research plats, property information, etc.
    • Research property information on the computer using ACT or other applicable software.
  • Travel as required to assist in the completion of other projects
  • Complete required state and IAAO courses with a passing score
  • Other duties as assigned for the successful completion of projects in a professional manner.

An excellent candidate in this role:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic arithmetic skills - addition, subtraction, division, multiplication
  • Basic oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, clients and the public in a professional manner.
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently
  • Employee must be capable of working in the field (outside) in varying temperatures & other weather conditions. Employee must be capable of thoroughly inspecting all types of sites, many of which have varying topography - from level to steep.
  • Employee will work in an environment with domestic animals (including dogs and cats), livestock, insects, etc.
