Residential HVAC Installation Technician

Location: Charlotte, NC

Employment Type: Full-Time | Residential Installation

Schedule: Monday through Friday | 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

On-Call: Limited seasonal rotation

Compensation: $80,000 to $110,000+ annually based on experience, productivity, and performance

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 for qualified candidates

What You'll Do
  • Install residential heating and cooling systems, including complete system replacements

  • Replace furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, and indoor coils

  • Perform equipment start-up, testing, and system verification

  • Ensure installations meet company quality standards and manufacturer specifications

  • Maintain safe, organized, and professional job sites

  • Communicate project updates and operating instructions with homeowners

  • Complete installation paperwork accurately using company technology

  • Work independently or alongside other installers to complete projects efficiently

  • Represent Horne Heating and Air Conditioning with professionalism on every job

Qualifications
  • Minimum of two years of residential HVAC installation experience

  • EPA Universal Certification or EPA Type II Certification required

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and installation knowledge

  • Experience completing residential system replacements and equipment change-outs

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining quality standards

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

  • Own basic HVAC installation tools

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using ServiceTitan

  • NATE Certification
