Job description

DAS purchases and sales of Aftermarket Aircraft parts for both the Corporate and Management sectors of aviation. We deal with Corporate Flight Departments and Aircraft Manufacturers as well many Original Equipment Manufacturers around the world. What you can expect as Repair Coordinator at DAS Aviation:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Repair Coordinator to manage service requests, negotiate costs, and ensure timely project completion. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for clients, tenants, and vendors to schedule and track repairs. You will review contractor estimates and negotiate pricing to maximize cost efficiency. Additionally, you will maintain meticulous records of all transactions, approvals, and payments. Resolving repair disputes and ensuring compliance with industry regulations are also core responsibilities. This fast-paced position requires strong multitasking abilities, exceptional communication skills, and sharp negotiation talents.
You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS including:
  • Coordinate and manage repair requests from clients, tenants, or vendors.
  • Review repair estimates and negotiate costs to ensure fair pricing.
  • Communicate with contractors, service providers, and internal teams to schedule repairs.
  • Track repair progress and ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain records of all repair transactions, including estimates, approvals, and payments.
  • Conduct cost analysis to identify areas for savings and efficiency.
  • Address and resolve repair-related disputes or escalations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

What you'll need to bring with you:
Your Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
A valid driver's license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal but not required.
Your Experience
Previous experience in repair coordination, property management, insurance claims, or a related field.
Knowledge of repair processes, contractor pricing, and vendor management is a plus.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to analyze repair estimates.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and repair management software desired.

Compensation & Benefit Information
The following information is disclosed according to state specific requirements. If the position applied to is not in a state with these requirements, the following information may not apply. The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $22 - $27. Actual hourly rate will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience and performance. Additional compensation in the form of a shift differential will be provided if the employee is assigned to an alternate shift. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package. Other forms of compensation include a semi-annual discretionary bonus, 401(k) company match and employer contribution to a Health Savings Account (HSA).
