We are looking for a Unit Renovation Coordinator to join our team!

The Unit Renovation Coordinator provides support and facilitates on-site activities at a specific community, once the unit program reaches the “Production” phase of the renovation cycle. The Unit Renovation Coordinator is a liaison working to provide a necessary physical component of the Unit Renovation Process.

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

    • Work with Project Manager-Units, to understand final scope and specifications of the unit renovation effort.
    • Facilitate all scheduled on-site activities outlined in the Unit Renovation SOP, including unit inspections, punch walks, and formal unit handoffs.
    • Provide formal acceptance and sign-off on all turnovers including delivery of vacated units to Contractor and acceptance of completed units from Contractor.
    • Accept and store closeout docs such as warranty, from Contractor.
    • Schedule pre-move out / move out inspections upon being added to the renovation schedule (Unit Tracker).
    • Identify and document applicable add scope renovation items and work with Unit PM and Contractor to add items to renovation scope.
    • Identify, document, and report tenant damage to Community Manager per findings at inspection and add charges to SODA using Leonardo247.
    • Review availability report and work with Community Manager to ensure all units are handed off to Capital.
    • Re-key units to “Construction Key” and “Make-ready Key”, as applicable.
    • Work with Project Manager-Units and contractor to maintain daily log of contractors on site vs. schedule.
    • Report discrepancies to Project Manager-Units and contractor via email on a daily basis.
    • Report contractor delays to the Project Manager-Units as quickly as possible.
    • Ensure jobsite is left clean by contractor all doors secure on a daily basis.
    • Work with Contractor to resolve any site-level issues that arise such as site access, vandalism/theft or any injuries reported.
    • Attend regularly scheduled meetings and report any observed issues to the Project Manager-Units.
    • Monitor Contractor activities and report discrepancies back to Project Manager-Units.
    • Other duties as assigned by Operations Service Manager (Maintenance Manager)/Community Manager.

     Typical Base Pay Range: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

    This pay range is base pay only and does not include any additional compensation or bonuses that this position may be eligible for. The pay range is approximate and the actual pay may vary depending on related work experience, certifications, education, and other job related factors.
