Job Summary:
The Repair Coordinator plays a key role in supporting DMD’s repair operations by coordinating accurate, efficient, and high‐quality in‐warranty and out‐of‐warranty device repairs. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent documentation skills, and close collaboration with internal teams to ensure repairs are processed in a timely and compliant manner. The Repair Coordinator follows established repair workflows, maintains warranty and quality standards, and supports overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately file, document, and submit all in‐warranty repair cases in a timely and compliant manner
  • Maintain clear tracking and real‐time visibility of all repair cases within systems such as NetSuite, ServiceNow, or similar ERP and ticketing platforms
  • Ensure all warranty submissions meet partner requirements and internal quality standards
  • Coordinate and support out‐of‐warranty repairs, including hands‐on repair tasks and physical work such as device skinning when required
  • Identify, document, and communicate parts needed to complete repairs
  • Assist with diagnostics, device preparation, and post‐repair quality checks
  • Collaborate with repair, inventory, and operations teams to support efficient workflow
  • Follow established repair processes, safety guidelines, and documentation protocols
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Technical certification preferred
  • Familiarity with repair processes for common hardware brands such as Dell, Lenovo, HP, and Apple
  • At least 2 years of experience in laptop/cellphone repair coordination, electronics, hardware support, or a related field (preferred)
  • At least 2 years experience working with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite), ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow), or similar asset tracking platforms preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to document work accurately and consistently
  • Ability to identify repair needs, troubleshoot issues, and recommend appropriate actions
  • Comfortable supporting hands‐on repair work, including device disassembly and reassembly
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced operational environment
  • Familiarity with warranty processing or repair ticketing systems is a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • May include standing for long periods of time
  • May include bending, twisting, squatting, and repetitive motions
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing approximately 10–50 lbs. on a regular basis
