Joyful Journey Counseling Services is on the lookout for an experienced and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dedicated team. As a full-time member of our remote workforce, you will provide essential mental health counseling to diverse individuals, couples, and families, playing a critical role in improving their emotional wellbeing. The effective candidate will possess at least two years of practical experience in mental health counseling, having successfully navigated various mental health challenges that clients may face.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive client assessments to identify mental health conditions and establish client needs and goals.

  • Provide empathetic one-on-one psychotherapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to address emotional and psychological issues.

  • Monitor client progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to respond to evolving mental health needs.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of all client interactions, including assessments, treatment updates, and progress notes within our EMR system.
  • Collaborate actively with fellow mental health professionals, such as psychologists and case managers, to deliver comprehensive care that meets the full spectrum of client needs.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through training, workshops, and supervision, ensuring that practices align with the latest advances in mental health treatment.
