Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement individualized treatment strategies focused on trauma recovery and resilience building, utilizing methods like EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at assisting clients in processing their trauma, developing effective coping mechanisms, and fostering recovery.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary specialists to provide clients with integrated and comprehensive treatment options.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive immediate care when needed.
  • Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and available support resources, empowering them in their recovery journeys.
  • Maintain compliance with all legal and ethical standards by keeping accurate and confidential documentation of client sessions.
  • Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focusing on trauma-informed care practices.
  • Stay informed on the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously enhance your professional competency.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients mainly include individuals dealing with trauma, PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociation. These clients often arrive at our clinic seeking support to overcome significant emotional and psychological challenges. Your expertise will be crucial in helping them process their experiences and develop resilience, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives.

Qualifications
  • A masterโ€™s or doctoral degree from an accredited university in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Current and valid state license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred, with a focus on trauma-related illnesses.
  • Strong knowledge of trauma-informed therapy techniques and resilience-building strategies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, marked by an empathetic and non-judgmental demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations and navigate sensitive client interactions.
