  • Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and training activities related to trauma-informed care.
  • Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy methodologies to continuously improve patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinical focus is primarily on individuals experiencing the effects of trauma, including PTSD and complex trauma. You will engage with a diverse patient population, providing culturally sensitive care that respects and understands each individualโ€™s background and experiences. Your role as a therapist is pivotal in guiding clients on their journey toward healing and emotional strength.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders, as well as trauma-informed therapeutic modalities.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and evidence-based interventions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
  • Capability to remain calm and effective under stress or in crisis situations.
  • Competency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
  • A strong ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with specific trauma therapies proven effective in treating PTSD and similar conditions.
  • Background in working with diverse populations and addressing unique cultural considerations in treatment.
