Nexus HR is looking for a part-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) / Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) / Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to deliver high-quality behavioral health services via a secure telehealth platform.

    About the Job

The Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) / Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) / Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) will provide high-quality, accessible behavioral health services to underserved and underinsured communities. We are looking for clinicians who are not just experts in their field, but who are deeply committed to social equity and the well-being of those who often face barriers to care for a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Pay Structure: This is a fee-for-service, per-patient compensation model. Payment is tied to the number of clinical sessions that are successfully completed and appropriately documented in accordance with organizational and compliance standards.

Sliding Scale Awareness: We serve a diverse population with varied financial circumstances, including patients who receive services through a Sliding Fee Scale. Candidate must be comfortable practicing within an equitable care model that prioritizes high-quality, patient-centered services regardless of an individual’s ability to pay the full fee.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Deliver individual psychotherapy services through a secure telehealth platform to a diverse patient population, including those in high-need rural and urban areas.

    • Provide culturally responsive and trauma-informed care tailored to the unique challenges of underserved communities.

    • Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and individualized treatment planning.

    • Manage and maintain an active caseload with timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.

    • Ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations, specifically maintaining ethical standards for patients receiving sliding-scale assistance.

    • Document all patient interactions accurately within the IMS electronic medical record system.

    • Deliver individual psychotherapy services through a secure telehealth platform

    • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams to support integrated treatment approaches

    • Ensure full compliance with all state, federal, organizational, and regulatory requirements

    • Practice in accordance with ethical standards and evidence-based best practices for virtual care

    Qualifications:

    • Active, unrestricted Georgia license as: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

    • Board-certified and in good standing with the State of Georgia

    • Compassionate Professionalism: A demonstrated commitment to working with underserved, underinsured, and marginalized populations.

    • Financial Sensitivity: An understanding and supportive attitude toward non-profit fee structures, including sliding fee scales and community-based care models.

    • Strong clinical communication and documentation skills.

    • Comfort operating in a virtual care environment using HIPAA-compliant platforms.
