Adorn Life Behavioral Health Center, a premier outpatient psychiatric facility located in Springfield, Massachusetts, is seeking dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselors to join our dynamic team in full-time remote positions. Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility and adaptability in work schedules. However, you will remain an integral part of our close-knit community health clinic team, collaborating with colleagues through video conferencing and telephonic communications to ensure coordinated, holistic care for our clients. You will have structured work hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility as needed based on client demands and clinical priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand the unique needs of each client and create tailored treatment plans that address their specific goals.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to deliver effective and evidence-based interventions to individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that foster a sense of community and provide education on prevalent mental health topics.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure multidisciplinary support for patient care, involving them in case management discussions and treatment planning.
• Respond effectively to mental health crises with intervention services, providing immediate support to clients in distress during emergency situations.
• Educate clients on mental health disorders and treatment options to empower them in their recovery journey, while also connecting them with valuable community resources.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment processes, adhering to legal and ethical standards within behavioral health services.
• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and stay abreast of the latest developments in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and may present with a range of mental health issues, requiring therapists who are culturally competent and adaptable. You will guide individuals, couples, and families towards recovery through personalized care while recognizing and respecting their unique experiences and challenges.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts.
• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment strategies, and therapeutic modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to perform mental health assessments and devise actionable treatment strategies for diverse populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster rapport with clients and promote a supportive therapeutic environment.
• Adherence to professional ethics and the ability to maintain professional boundaries in therapeutic relationships.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications for documentation and communication.
• A collaborative spirit with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team setting effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience offering therapy to individuals and groups, particularly within ambulatory or outpatient settings.
• Engagement in ongoing professional development initiatives, showing commitment to expanding clinical skills and knowledge.
• Experience conducting psychoeducational sessions or leading support groups to engage client communities effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
