What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an LCSWA (Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate) in a remote role, and why are they important?

To thrive as a remote LCSWA, you need a master's degree in social work, LCSWA licensure, and a strong understanding of clinical assessment and intervention strategies. Familiarity with telehealth platforms, electronic health records (EHRs), and secure communication tools is essential for providing virtual services. Excellent communication, self-motivation, and time-management skills help you build rapport with clients and maintain productivity while working independently. These skills and qualities are crucial for delivering effective, ethical care and ensuring client engagement in a remote setting.

What are some common challenges faced by LCSWA professionals working remotely, and how can they address them?

LCSWA professionals working remotely often encounter challenges such as building rapport with clients virtually and maintaining clear boundaries between work and personal life. It can also be difficult to access immediate supervision or peer support compared to in-person settings. To address these issues, it’s important to establish a dedicated workspace, schedule regular check-ins with supervisors, and utilize secure telehealth platforms. Joining online professional communities can also help provide support and reduce feelings of isolation.

What are LCSWA remote jobs?

LCSWA remote jobs are positions for Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associates (LCSWA) that allow professionals to work from home or another remote location. These jobs typically involve providing mental health counseling, therapy, or case management to clients through telehealth platforms, phone, or video conferencing. Remote LCSWA roles offer flexibility and the opportunity to serve clients who may not have easy access to in-person services, while still adhering to state licensure regulations and ethical guidelines.

Job description

Buscamos terapeutas bilingües (español/inglés) en Carolina del Norte

Daybreak Health is actively recruiting bilingual Spanish/English associate clinicians (LMHCA or LCSWA) to serve our growing caseload of Latino students and families across North Carolina. This is a part-time W2 remote role with free supervision, guaranteed pay, and consistent afternoon/evening hours.

Charlotte's Latino community is the largest in North Carolina, and the need for culturally competent bilingual mental health care for students statewide is urgent. If you're bilingual and passionate about serving Latino youth — this role was built for you.

What Makes This Different

  • Free supervision — weekly 1:1 and group supervision, fully covered
  • Guaranteed pay for late cancellations and no-shows
  • $35/hr individual sessions (12+) | $45/hr family therapy
  • Part-time W2 — real employment, not contractor instability
  • Fully remote — work from anywhere in North Carolina
  • Mon–Fri 3–8 PM — predictable, school-aligned hours
  • No billing, no credentialing, no admin — we handle everything

The Work

You'll provide evidence-based teletherapy to K–12 students across North Carolina, collaborating with school counselors and families statewide. Weekly individual and group supervision, case consultations, and clinical team discussions are core parts of the role.

What You Need

  • Active LMHCA or LCSWA in North Carolina (required — we are not able to hire other license types at this time)
  • Bilingual Spanish/English fluency
  • Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged youth and families
  • Comfortable with telehealth and EHR systems
  • Available Mon–Fri 3–8 PM

Preferred

  • Experience in CBT, DBT, or similar modalities
  • Prior school-based or youth-focused experience
Pay Range
$35—$45 USD
