About The Role:

  • We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to help shape the evolution of our Central Data Platform. In this role, you'll define and prioritize platform capabilities that enable scalable, reliable, and reusable data solutions supporting both internal teams and client-facing products.
  • You'll partner closely with Product Analysts, Data Engineering, and Business Units to understand business needs, translate them into technical requirements, prioritize platform investments, and drive execution from concept through adoption. Success in this role requires strong product judgment, technical fluency, and the ability to align stakeholders around a shared platform vision.

As Our Technical PM you Will:

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Central Data Platform Roadmap
    • Define and prioritize the roadmap for Central Data Platform capabilities.
    • Identify opportunities to centralize, standardize, and productize data capabilities across the business.
    • Balance competing priorities, tradeoffs, and technical constraints to maximize business value.
    • Communicate roadmap decisions, priorities, and delivery progress to stakeholders.
  • Define Product Requirements
    • Translate business problems and analyst needs into clear product requirements.
    • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, rollout plans, and success metrics.
    • Ensure requirements balance scalability, maintainability, performance, and speed to delivery.
    • Partner with engineering to ensure solutions accurately reflect business logic and technical requirements.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Execution
    • Partner with Product Analysts, Data Engineering, and Business Units throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Align stakeholders on priorities, timelines, dependencies, and delivery plans.
    • Identify risks, remove blockers, and drive execution across multiple teams.
    • Create transparency around delivery status and platform capabilities.
  • Drive Platform Adoption and Continuous Improvement
    • Partner with teams to validate functionality, data quality, and successful releases.
    • Measure adoption and business impact of platform capabilities.
    • Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, improve data quality, and increase reuse of platform investments.
    • Incorporate user feedback and performance metrics into future roadmap decisions.

You Are Likely To Succeed If You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, Product Management, Data Product Management, Technical Program Management, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience with central data platforms, data infrastructure, data products, or enterprise analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT workflows, APIs, cloud platforms, or modern data tooling.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing data products or business-unit-specific analytics use cases.
  • Background working closely with Product Analysts, Data Engineering, or Business Unit stakeholders.
  • Experience improving data governance, reusability, auditability, or platform adoption.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery, Jira, Confluence, dbt, Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, Looker, Tableau, or similar tools.

  • This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit in NYC (where our headquarters is located), one of our office hubs, or anywhere else in the US. However, depending upon where the remote work is performed, income could be subject to New York State tax withholding. 
  • The annual on-target earnings for this position is anticipated to be up to $195,000 - $209,000. The final offer may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal team benchmarks. 
  • The compenation package also includes equity.
