DPR Construction is seeking a Self-Perform Work Superintendent- Drywall with at least 5+ years of commercial construction experience.

Requirements:

Superintendents will work closely with all members of the project team and supervise all craft employees and will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee, manage, and mentor Assistant Superintendents and Foremen
  • Hire, Inspire and grow our craft workforce.
  • Objectively and respectfully deal with reductions in force.
  • Lead DPR's Injury-Free Environment (IFE) Safety Program for this scope.
  • Ensure quality of work matches project, jurisdictional and DPR standards.
  • Work in a collaborative environment with other trade partners and project teams to ensure optimum production.
  • Lead the problem-solving effort should safety, quality or production issues arrive within this scope.
  • Professionally represent DPR Field Operations.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess:

  • Excellent listening skills and have professional communication skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Effective participation in team environment
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam and PlanGrid.
  • 10+ years hands-on trade-related field experience as a journeyman, foreman and/or Superintendent.
  • Knowledge of and ability to recruit craft from the local workforce.
  • A strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude.
