Resilience Rays Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time capacity. This position offers the unique opportunity to work remotely while providing essential social services at our Detox Center in Anaheim, California. This is a fully remote position, offering convenience and flexibility while still ensuring that our clients receive the robust support they need. Working within a remote framework, you will have the opportunity to interact with clients via telehealth platforms, phone consultations, and virtual support sessions. Regular business hours are maintained, with the potential for occasional evening and weekend commitments based on client needs. The focus remains on supporting individuals and families at our Detox Center with professional care and empathy.

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine clients’ social, emotional, and environmental challenges, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
• Develop tailored service plans that outline specific goals, interventions, and mechanisms for monitoring progress, ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Provide individual and family counseling, offering support and strategies for overcoming challenges and enhancing coping mechanisms.
• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with clients to create personalized service plans that connect them with vital community resources.
• Engage in crisis intervention by assessing risks and providing safety planning to clients in moments of acute distress.
• Collaborate with community agencies and organizations to coordinate services effectively, advocating for client needs and ensuring a united approach to care.
• Participate in community outreach for awareness and education about agency services, working to reduce stigma associated with mental health and addiction issues.
• Involve yourself in case conferences, team collaborations, and continuous staff training to enhance the delivery of services.

The primary clientele includes individuals and families grappling with significant social challenges. You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients dealing with addiction, mental health issues, and socio-economic hardships. Directly impacting their journey towards recovery, you will foster a supportive environment where clients can feel safe and empowered to share their experiences and catalyze change.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Exemplary communication skills, cultural competence, and an ability to navigate complex social issues.
• Proficiency in trauma-informed care principles, providing sensitivity to the needs of diverse client populations.

• Experience within a social service agency or related setting is preferred, particularly in mental health or substance use treatment environments.
• Demonstrable knowledge of social and economic justice issues and community resources will be advantageous.
