Family Unity Counseling is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ social, emotional, and psychological needs to pinpoint areas requiring intervention.
• Provide individual and group counseling utilizing evidence-based therapies tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.
• Develop and implement personalized service plans that align with clients’ goals, actively checking in on progress and modifying approaches as needed.
• Act as a staunch advocate for clients, addressing their rights, ensuring access to essential resources, and supporting their rights in social justice matters.
• Engage in the development, evaluation, and reporting of programs, contributing valuable insights that can enhance service delivery.
• Collaborate effectively with community organizations, government entities, and volunteers to augment the range and quality of services offered.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and community outreach activities that promote awareness of our services and foster client engagement.

You will primarily work with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds who face a variety of challenges, including mental health crises, socio-economic hardships, and barriers to accessing necessary resources. This role requires sensitivity to the unique needs of marginalized groups, allowing you to leverage your skills to empower clients toward achieving better health and stability.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is a prerequisite for this role.
• Possession of an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
• A solid understanding of social justice, advocacy, trauma-informed care, and knowledge of community resources is essential.
• Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills to facilitate effective relationships with clients and colleagues.

• Previous experience in a nonprofit organization or similar social service environment is highly preferred, as it equips candidates with a unique understanding of the challenges and dynamics of the field.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and an understanding of multi-disciplinary treatment teams will be advantageous.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
