• Independently manage a dedicated caseload of students, assessing their psychosocial needs to formulate and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of students' social, emotional, financial, and cultural factors that can impact their academic and personal success.
• Lead crisis intervention efforts, providing immediate support during emergencies and coordinating care for students facing significant psychosocial challenges.
• Collaborate with educators, case managers, and family members to develop effective treatment strategies and resource allocation that addresses the complexity of each case.
• Supervise social work interns and junior social work staff, offering mentorship and guidance to enhance service delivery within the organization.
• Foster communication between healthcare professionals and external community resources to ensure that students have access to necessary support services.
• Participate in care coordination for students with special needs, ensuring that the appropriate interventions and follow-ups are established and maintained.
• Educate the healthcare team on the role of social work in addressing psychosocial issues, enhancing overall patient and student care.
