Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Family Unity Counseling, you will engage with clients in various therapeutic settings. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting intake assessments and developing tailored treatment plans for couples and families.
  • Facilitating joint sessions with couples, alongside individual sessions to address personal concerns.
  • Utilizing evidence-based practices to address various issues, including communication difficulties, grief and loss, adjustment to separation and divorce, family conflicts, and blended family dynamics.
  • Collaborating with other health professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive care for your clients.
  • Maintaining up-to-date documentation and progress notes in compliance with our organization’s standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Actively participating in peer meetings and professional development workshops to enhance clinical skills.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse client base consisting of adults, adolescents, and families. Therapeutic services will focus on addressing issues such as behavioral health challenges, relationship conflicts, transitions in family structures, mental health conditions, and trauma experiences. You will specialize in creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore sensitive topics, enhancing their emotional well-being and relationship dynamics.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in family systems theory and therapeutic techniques.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for helping clients achieve their goals.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in outpatient care.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and documentation software.
  • Experience working with families in crisis and knowledge of community resources for referrals.
Compensation and Benefits

Family Unity Counseling offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to an attractive compensation package, we provide:
