Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Power Platform & SharePoint Developer/Administrator to support U.S. federal government initiatives. This role combines Power Apps development, workflow automation, and SharePoint Online administration/web development to modernize business processes, enhance collaboration, and improve operational efficiency in a secure and compliant environment.
The ideal candidate brings experience building low-code solutions, managing SharePoint environments, and working within federal compliance frameworks while collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Power Platform Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) applications
  • Build and support Power Automate workflows for process automation
  • Develop and manage Dataverse data models, relationships, and security roles
  • Create reports and dashboards using Power BI (as permitted)

SharePoint & Web Development
  • Administer SharePoint Online sites, libraries, permissions, and user access
  • Maintain and enhance intranet, internet, and CMS-based websites
  • Develop web applications using ASP.NET/.NET Core, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
  • Design site structures, navigation, branding, and content types

Integration & Architecture
  • Integrate solutions with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, SQL Server, and approved systems
  • Provide architecture input for Power Platform and SharePoint-based solutions

Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, Section 508, and federal privacy/security standards
  • Support ATO (Authority to Operate) processes and audits
  • Use approved connectors and adhere to governance policies

Support & Delivery
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Provide tier-2 support, troubleshooting, and enhancements
  • Participate in testing, release management, and change control
  • Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and configuration records

Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of Power Apps & Power Automate development
  • 3+ years of SharePoint Online development/administration
  • Experience working in Microsoft 365 environments
  • Strong understanding of role-based access control and security best practices

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting civilian federal agencies
  • Familiarity with GCC environments
  • Knowledge of ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) in Power Platform

Compensation for roles at Synergy varies depending on a wide variety of factors including but not limited to the requirements of the role; education and certifications; knowledge, training, skills and abilities; level of experience; geographic location; and alignment with market data, law, and other business and organizational needs. As required by local law, the posted pay range represents the lowest to the highest pay that Synergy believes in good faith it might pay for this particular job, depending on the circumstances. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $85,000.00 - $112,000.00.
