Job description

POSITION: SharePoint Support
LOCATION: El Segundo, CA Los Angeles Air Force Base (Remote eligible)
REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE: Secret
POSITION TYPE/STANDARD WORK HOURS: Full time / 40 hours per week
THE OPPORTUNITY: The SharePoint Support position is a member of team providing support to the Space Systems Command (SSC) Contracting Directorate (PK) Front Office and Staff Divisions, including the Pricing Division (SSC/PKF), the Policy, Program Support, and Business Operations Division (SSC/PKV), and the Talent Management Division (SSC/PKX).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The SharePoint Support position will work with the team to design and develop the SSC/PK SharePoint site and sub-sites and tools in accordance with the SSC/PK SharePoint Concept of Operations and Knowledge Management Program Manager-approved priorities.
  • Design and maintain custom applications using Power Apps and SharePoint Online
  • Build and manage workflows with Power Automate
  • Create and maintain SharePoint lists, libraries, and team sites, including structure, metadata, and views
  • Configure and manage SharePoint security groups, user access, and permissions
  • Transition legacy data, libraries, and processes to modern, web-based systems, especially within SharePoint
  • Maintain associated databases and provide regular data reports and usage metrics
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and end users to gather requirements and deliver intuitive, user-centered solutions
  • Adhere to UI/UX best practices for layout, accessibility, and performance
  • Document systems, workflows, procedures, and access protocols
  • Support ongoing site/tool maintenance and troubleshoot user issues as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 3+ years’ experience completing functions described above
  • Demonstrated success building and maintaining custom apps and automations in SharePoint
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint list/library management, permissions, and team site creation
  • Experience designing or supporting modern SharePoint experiences and custom business tools
  • Clear understanding of Power Platform architecture and Microsoft Teams integrations
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with non-technical users
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and usable technical documentation
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position does not supervise the work of others.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to operate a computer and other standard office equipment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, 80%.

COMPENSATION / SALARY RANGE:
BTAS adheres to federal, state, and local regulations. This is a Full-Time, Salary, Exempt position. The following salary range is what we reasonably expect to pay but is contingent and subject to a variety of factors, including but not limited to years of experience, education, certification(s), training, specialized skills, responsibilities, etc. The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000.
