Role: SharePoint SME/Architect/Lead
US - Remote (EST/CST Zone)
Duration: 6-12 Months Contract
Requirements
For the SharePoint candidates going forward, we are looking for someone who is more technical and migration-focused rather than a full-fledged Business Analyst. If it helps, here are some of the requirements
  • File Share to SharePoint Online Migration Expertise leveraging Migration Manager and ShareGate:

Ability to design migrations, perform pre-scans, execute incremental migrations, handle permissions, troubleshoot failures, and validate results.
  • SharePoint Online Architecture & Governance:

Understanding of sites, hubs, Teams-connected sites, document libraries, permissions, retention, sensitivity labels, search, metadata, and lifecycle governance.
  • Information Architecture & Metadata Design:

Designing site structures, navigation, content organization, metadata, ownership models, and search experiences.
  • Permissions & Security Analysis:

Deep understanding of NTFS permissions, Active Directory groups, Entra ID groups, SharePoint permissions, inheritance, external sharing, and access remediation.
  • Stakeholder Management & Executive Communication:

Ability to work with executives, site owners, SMEs, legal teams, governance teams, and technical teams while managing expectations and securing decisions.
  • Migration Planning & Delivery Management:
