Step Up on Second Mental and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team in Tucson, Arizona. In this remote, full-time position, you will play a critical role in offering compassionate mental health services to individuals aged 18 and older. Your work will greatly contribute to helping clients achieve community stability and independence, as well as improving their overall quality of life. This position offers a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility in your schedule while connecting with clients through digitale means. As a fully remote counselor, you will have the tools to perform your duties effectively, including a good Wi-Fi connection and the necessary IT resources to access our platform for service delivery. Our community-driven approach ensures that you will receive the support of a dedicated team while working from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services by developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate clients' progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
• Assist in crafting, monitoring, and executing individualized service plans to comprehensively address clients’ needs.
• Support clients in building essential skills such as coping mechanisms, problem-solving strategies, and effective communication techniques.
• Educate clients about available community services and actively advocate for their access to these resources.
• Offer ongoing support and guidance to foster client self-efficacy in managing their mental health and achieving their life goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adults aged 18 and older who may be experiencing significant mental health challenges that hinder their community integration and personal independence. You will work with a diverse range of clients who may face issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and severe psychological disorders, providing tailored support to meet their unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current and unrestricted state license, which may include: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).
• The ability to practice independently without supervision.
• No recent disciplinary actions on your license.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with an innate ability to empathize with and support clients.

Preferred Experience

• A proven track record of providing direct clinical services.
• Proficiency in using digital tools to manage client records and deliver services effectively.
• Experience in developing comprehensive treatment plans and conducting assessments.
• A strong understanding of community resources and the ability to collaborate with external organizations.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
