Position Summary
We're looking for an experienced and client-focused Accounting Project Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical accounting skills who enjoys working directly with clients and leading process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of accounting systems and process improvements for new and existing clients, under the guidance of a Project Director
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during client onboarding and training
  • Manage the month-end close process for a portfolio of clients
  • Participate in a variety of special projects that offer continuous learning and development opportunities

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (required)
  • CPA designation (preferred)
  • 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience, including month-end close and financial statement preparation
  • Experience with multi-entity businesses and fast-growing organizations
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting technologies
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (preferred); experience with Great Plains or other accounting software is a plus
