Were seeking a dedicated and skilled Remote Accountant to manage our financial records, reporting, and compliance. This role will play a critical part in supporting our financial health, ensuring accuracy and transparency as we grow.

Job Overview

As a Remote Accountant, you will handle various accounting responsibilities, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, payroll processing, and monthly financial reporting. You'll work closely with our finance team, project managers, and external auditors to maintain financial accuracy and regulatory compliance. This remote role offers flexibility while requiring periodic virtual team interactions to align with project needs and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Record Maintenance:

Manage and oversee all financial records, transactions, and reports. Maintain accuracy and compliance in all financial documentation.

- Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Process invoices, track payments, and manage accounts receivable and payable schedules to ensure timely settlements and collections.

- General Ledger Management:

Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and maintain accurate financial statements.

- Payroll Processing:

Oversee payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees while complying with state and federal payroll regulations.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights on the company's financial performance. Support the finance team in forecasting and budgeting processes.

- Compliance and Audit Support:

- Tax Preparation Assistance:

Requirements

- Education:
