Position Overview

Humanistic Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and licensed mental health counselor to join our team as a full-time remote provider. This role is ideal for mental health professionals who are passionate about delivering compassionate care to clients in a supportive virtual environment. As part of our organization, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals seeking mental health support.

About the Organization

At Humanistic Counseling, LLC, we pride ourselves on connecting licensed counselors with individuals in need of mental health support across the country. Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to create a schedule that accommodates your lifestyle while prioritizing the well-being of your clients. Our community health clinic setting is designed to support a collaborative experience where professionals can share insights and best practices, ensuring that therapists can focus solely on providing excellent mental health care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive remote assessments and evaluations to thoroughly understand clients’ mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide one-on-one individual therapy using evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to clients’ specific circumstances and preferences.
  • Collaborate with clients to set therapeutic goals and monitor their progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
  • Utilize our digital communication platform for offering teletherapy services to clients who may prefer or require virtual sessions.
  • Maintain coherent and ethical documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes to comply with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in continuous professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and remain informed about the latest trends and methodologies in mental health treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base primarily consists of individuals who have been pre-screened and are considered stable with low acuity levels, allowing you to focus on therapeutic interventions without the complexities often associated with higher-risk cases. This ensures a productive therapeutic alliance where you can engage deeply with each client’s specific needs and challenges.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Ability to work independently in managing your client schedule and case management processes, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills crucial for clear and empathetic dialogues with clients and coordinated care with colleagues.
  • No history of disciplinary actions on your professional license, ensuring adherence to the ethical standards of the profession.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of three years of post-licensure experience as a mental health counselor or social worker.
  • Demonstrated success in working with diverse populations, particularly in a teletherapy setting.
  • Experience in co-developing treatment plans with clients and a track record of positive outcomes in therapy.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 based on experience and qualifications.
  • Eligibility for a monthly healthcare stipend to support your health coverage needs.
  • Complete flexibility with a fully remote work setting that allows you to balance your professional and personal commitments.
  • Access to our platform's services free of charge while you remain an active counselor, helping you maintain your well-being as you assist others.
  • A supportive environment where you can design your work schedule based on personal and client needs.
