Polaris Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our innovative team. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their mental health status and treatment needs.
• Develop individualized therapy plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Engage in regular therapeutic sessions with clients, providing them with the necessary tools and strategies to overcome challenges and promote positive mental health.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress and treatment plans in our electronic health records system.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
• Educate clients and their families about various mental health conditions and treatment options to foster understanding and promote engagement in the therapeutic process.
• Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to stay informed of the latest trends and developments in mental health care.

In this role, you will work with a varied patient population, including individuals dealing with substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and other mental health challenges. Your ability to connect empathetically with clients from diverse backgrounds will be crucial in facilitating open and honest communication, fostering trust, and enhancing therapeutic outcomes.

• A Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• A valid state counseling license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Previous clinical experience in mental health settings, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques and interventions.
• Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and listening skills to build rapport and effectively address client needs.

• Experience working with a diverse patient population, particularly those with complex mental health issues.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a sign-on bonus, our compensation package includes access to unlimited client referrals, allowing you to grow your practice while focusing on your clients.
