Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through virtual consultations to assess patient conditions and needs.
  • Provide crisis intervention services to help patients navigate emergencies effectively.
  • Develop individualized care plans based on thorough assessments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Complete and maintain accurate documentation, including statistical reports, treatment records, and clinical notes to monitor patient progress.
  • Work in conjunction with the Department of Correction to ensure patients have proper access to mental health services, housing arrangements, and follow-up treatments.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions for clients on mental health observation units and provide support across various clinical settings as necessary.
  • Participate actively in case conferences and treatment planning meetings to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care delivery.
  • Engage in weekly clinical supervision sessions with your Clinical Supervisor to enhance your professional development and clinical skills.
  • May supervise social work interns or volunteer students as part of your commitment to fostering the next generation of mental health professionals.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population of clients who present with a range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use challenges. Your outreach will focus on providing empathetic support to individuals from varying backgrounds, ensuring that their cultural, social, and personal needs are met within our telehealth framework.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in telehealth settings, experience in crisis intervention, and familiarity with electronic health record systems (EHR). Additional qualifications may include training in psychological assessments, group therapy facilitation, or experience within correctional mental health settings.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Unity Point provides a comprehensive benefits package including:
