Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations to create individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs of each client.
• Provide therapeutic support through individual, family, or group sessions employing evidence-based approaches tailored to address varied mental health issues.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, adhering to ethical standards and agency policies to ensure compliance and protect client confidentiality.
• Engage in regular clinical consultations and trainings, contributing to ongoing professional development and supporting team cohesion.
• Advocate effectively for clients across various systems such as educational institutions, healthcare providers, and legal services to facilitate their access to comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve clients coping with a variety of emotional and relational challenges, particularly those involved with hospice care. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, immigrant/refugee communities, and low-income families, ensuring culturally competent care that respects and understands their life experiences and systemic barriers.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in California.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field, with a strong commitment to advancing your practice.
• Solid skills in diagnostic formulation, trauma-informed care, and culturally competent practices are essential.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
