Valley Point Healthcare & Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a manageable caseload of clients, building rapport and fostering positive therapeutic relationships grounded in professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one sessions with clients to assess their progress, adjust treatment plans, and discuss any concerns pertaining to appointments and discharge when appropriate.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans, ensuring they reflect the evolving needs of your clients.
  • Document sessions and maintain accurate progress notes for each client in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Perform thorough intake assessments to gather relevant clinical information and understand each clientโ€™s unique situation.
  • Engage in ongoing supervision to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback on your practice.
  • Collaborate with healthcare colleagues to create a coordinated care approach that supports the overall well-being of clients.
  • Cultivate a growth mindset that encourages continuous learning and adaptability in your practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic specifically focuses on providing mental health services to youth, making a meaningful impact on their emotional, social, and educational development. As an LCPC, you will work closely with adolescents and young adults facing challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to substance use and trauma. You will play a pivotal role in helping them navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Kansas.
  • Ability to meet internal credentialing requirements for clinical practice.
Preferred Experience
  • At least one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.
  • Familiarity with assessment and diagnosis processes, along with experience facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for effective documentation and information management.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is between USD 65,000 and 80,000 annually, reflecting your experience and contributions. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
