Responsibilities:Documentation Drafting
  • Write, edit, and maintain comprehensive physical security documentation, including enterprise-level policies, standards, detailed SOPs, and field-ready guides.
  • Develop highly practical user guides, quick-reference materials, training artifacts, and job aids to support security and process integrity.
  • Ensure all newly generated and updated content strictly aligns with established documentation architecture, corporate branding parameters, and style guidelines.
Technical Translation & Field Compliance
  • Translate intricate technical specifications, system mechanics, and compliance requirements into clear, structured, and accessible language tailored for diverse audiences, including field personnel.
  • Structure foundational documentation explicitly to drive consistent behaviors, compliance, and uniform operational execution across all global organization environments.
  • Partner logistically with cross-functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across Physical Security to gather content, map workflows, and validate documentation accuracy.
Content Quality Control & Peer Review
  • Perform rigorous editorial and quality reviews of documentation created by other program contributors to ensure precision, clarity, and consistency with established standards.
  • Optimize content architecture for maximum searchability, user retention, and ease of navigation across diverse stakeholder audiences.
  • Support ongoing audit readiness initiatives through active document validation, content gap remediation, and structured artifact standardization.
Lifecycle Coordination & Repository Governance
  • Coordinate seamlessly with the Security Governance Project Manager to execute drafting priorities, track progress, and meet established intake queue deadlines.
  • Support the administration of the controlled documentation repository, including strict version control, revision history, and audit traceability for all active and archived assets.
  • Facilitate formal documentation review cycles, systematically incorporating stakeholder and reviewer feedback to prepare finalized copies for leadership approval.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of professional technical writing or technical editing experience, specifically within corporate security, compliance, technology, or highly regulated enterprise environments.
  • Proven capability to analyze technical controls, security data, or complex workflows and translate them into clear, actionable, and user-friendly documentation for diverse audiences.
  • Experience working successfully within a managed service, consulting, or staff augmentation model.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying formal documentation standards and industry style guides.
  • Proven track record of partnering with both technical and non-technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to extract operational details and validate documentation accuracy.
  • Solid familiarity with enterprise content management systems, repository governance tools, and collaboration platforms, including Google Workspace, Confluence, SharePoint, and AODocs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, Information Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Foundational familiarity with enterprise security governance concepts, internal control frameworks, or industry standards terminology, including operational exposure to ASIS, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, or SOC 2.
  • Experience performing structured editorial peer reviews, gap analyses, and quality control checks on documentation created by external program contributors.
  • Background in creating structural document templates, training aids, and quick-reference job materials from scratch to drive process integrity.
