Job Title : HR Payroll Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Location: Boynton Beach, FL ONSITE
Duration: 6 months

We are seeking a skilled HR Payroll Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, especially Payroll, tailored to the complex and dynamic workforce requirements of the EPC industry. The ideal candidate will understand both the technical and business side of payroll, ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations across diverse project-based environments. 6 years of HRIS Payroll experience with at least 2 years in Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM Payroll. Strong functional understanding of EPC workforce complexities including labor classification, site-specific compensation, and compliance issues. Hands-on experience with payroll configuration, fast formulas, HDLHSDL, costing, retro pay, and statutory reporting. Experience working with Oracle Time and Labor (OTL), project costing integrations, and site-based time capture tools.
Roles Responsibilities
Serve as the subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion Payroll, supporting the configuration, testing, and execution of payroll processes across multiple regions and legal entities. Align Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll with EPC-specific workforce models, such as union labor, project-based assignments, remote site allowances, per diems, and variable pay structures. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Project Controls teams to map payroll elements to project costing and time tracking (e.g., Oracle Time and Labor, Primavera P6). Configure and maintain payroll elements, fast formulas, balance feeds, costing rules, and run types in Oracle Fusion. Ensure compliance with statutory payroll requirements and labor regulations for on-site and international project workforce. Manage integrations between payroll and third-party systems such as time capture, equipment tracking, contract labor platforms, and finance accounting systems. Support payroll audits, reconciliations, year-end processing, and reporting using BI Publisher and OTBI. Provide functional support, testing, documentation, and training to internal users during implementation and BAU
