Job Title:

Oracle Cloud Finance Functional Consultant

Job Summary:

Next Generation, Inc., an Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Finance Functional Resource to join our team. This role involves leading complex, full lifecycle Oracle Cloud Finance implementations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful deployment for public sector clients. The role requires a hybrid schedule of 1 week remote, then 1 week on-site in Washington, DC, and travel expenses are covered.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead functional implementation on complex, full lifecycle Oracle Cloud Finance projects.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis, business process design, and manage the full Oracle ERP deployment lifecycle, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, and cutover.
  • Write and maintain Configuration WorkBooks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Oracle ERP systems with other software solutions.
  • Ensure successful data conversion and interface development across Oracle Cloud Finance modules.
Job Requirements:
  • 10+ years of Oracle implementation experience.
  • 7+ years of experience leading Oracle ERP deployments.
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle Cloud Finance modules: GL, FAH, AP, AR, PO, FA, and Analytics.
  • Proven track record in data conversion and interfaces.
  • Experience in Public Sector Accounting required.
  • Experience with Projects and Grants is a must.
  • Public Sector experience preferred.
  • Ability to be on site 50% of the time in Washington, DC (alternating weeks remote).
