Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Construction Supervisor (Open to Remote) will provide owner-side construction leadership across the full build project lifecycle, from front-end loading (FEL)/Project Delivery Process (PDP) phases and design development through construction execution, pre-commissioning, mechanical completion, turnover, commissioning, start-up support and operational handoff. In this role, you will supervise construction activities, coordinate relevant stakeholders and lead teams and third-party resources to promote a safe work environment, reduce waste, support efficient field operations and deliver facilities that meet safety, quality, cost, schedule, regulatory and operational-readiness objectives.
This position is open to remote within the US, 100% travel is required to cover the area of responsibility.

Key Accountabilities
  • Provide owner-side construction leadership and technical expertise throughout the full project lifecycle, including FEL/PDP, scope definition, design, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, mechanical completion, turnover, commissioning and start-up support, performance verification and final closeout.
  • During FEL/PDP and design development, establish and challenge construction execution strategies, constructability, path of construction, modularization and prefabrication, site logistics, temporary facilities, early works, work packaging, staffing, contracting, shutdown and tie-in requirements, and construction risk.
  • Provide construction input to project estimates, integrated schedules, milestone plans, procurement strategies, long-lead equipment plans, vendor field support, commissioning sequences and resource requirements to improve cost, schedule and operational certainty before project authorization.
  • Lead or participate in design and model reviews to confirm constructability, maintainability, operability, code compliance, safe access, lifting and rigging provisions, installation clearances, equipment removal routes, isolation points, testing provisions and commissioning/start-up requirements.
  • Oversee field execution against approved plans, project controls and timetables, coordinating engineering, procurement, operations, maintenance, FSQR, EHS, quality, contractors and vendors to deliver work safely, on time, within scope and in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote and enforce a safe work environment through visible field leadership, contractor safety oversight, control-of-work, permit-to-work, lockout/tagout, simultaneous operations, environmental, sanitation and food-safety requirements, including work in active operating facilities.
  • Manage contractor and third-party performance through mobilization, daily coordination, look-ahead and workforce planning, productivity monitoring, progress validation, change control, field issue resolution, claims avoidance, corrective actions and demobilization.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum requirement of ten years of relevant work experience in industrial construction management
  • Ability to perform tasks that require climbing from heights in varying climate and environment conditions
  • Ability to travel up to 100% of the time

Preferred Qualifications
  • Established skills in continuous improvement
  • Previous supervisory or leading experience
  • Ten or more years of similar work experience in a construction or project management environment
  • Strong working knowledge of building and construction standards, codes and specifications, permitting processes and requirements
  • Working knowledge of industry standard construction scheduling software
  • Experience leading third-party resources
  • Experience being an owner representative
  • Experience supporting industrial capital projects from FEL/FEED through construction, commissioning, start-up and operational turnover
  • Working knowledge of systemization, AWP - advanced work packaging, QMS - quality management systems, mechanical completion, turnover, pre-commissioning, commissioning, pre-start-up safety review and start-up processes
  • Experience executing brownfield work in operating facilities, including shutdowns, tie-ins, lockout/tagout and simultaneous operations
  • Experience in agri-food, food processing, chemical, energy, oil and gas, or other continuous-process industrial facilities

Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
